Do All Metal Buildings Need a Concrete Pad?

No — most of our residential carports and shed-style buildings can be installed on gravel, asphalt, dirt, or grass using ground anchors. A concrete slab is required for enclosed garages used as workshops, any building with heavy equipment, and many commercial applications.

If you need a concrete slab, it must be poured and fully cured before we arrive for installation. The slab is provided by the customer. We install the building directly on top using concrete anchor bolts.
