Same Gable. Different Orientation.

The Side Gable is the answer when you need the barn-door entrance on the long face of the building instead of the end. Standard sheds and utility buildings face you with the gable end when the doors are in front. The Side Gable flips that orientation — the long side faces the yard, the driveway, or wherever access makes the most sense on your property, while the roof ridge still runs the length of the building.

This is particularly useful when situating a building along a property border or tree line where you want the gable peak visible from the front but the entrance accessible from the side. The 3/12 gable roof provides great interior height at the center ridge, giving you more usable vertical space than a flat-wall shed of the same footprint. Wall height is 81 inches for T1-11 or 82.5 inches for LP SmartSide siding.
