The Side Porch Utility Shed is the right call when your lot layout or property orientation means the building faces a different direction than the door. The 4-foot covered porch wraps around the short side of the building with a railing, one support post, and a 9-lite house door — giving you a proper entrance without fighting your property's natural flow.
Double barn doors on the main face give you wide-access storage for equipment and larger items, while two 2x3 single-pane windows keep the interior bright. The 8-foot wall height gives you the vertical clearance for full shelving systems, overhead organization, or taller equipment storage that a standard-height shed simply won't accommodate.
The porch can be placed on any corner of the building — giving you flexibility to orient the entrance wherever it makes the most sense for your property. If you decide to build your own Side Porch Utility Shed you can customize it by moving doors or windows where you need them, adding dormers etc. There are plenty of ways to make it your own.
As an authorized Old Hickory Buildings dealer, every structure we deliver is engineer certified and backed by manufacturer and material warranties. You do not need a foundation, a contractor, or a permit in most areas. Just tell us where you want it. If delivery is not an option we can build the shed on your property in most areas.
Available sizes vary by delivery location. Porch depth (4ft) is included in total building length.
