Choose Your Roof Style

The roof style affects durability, aesthetics, and price. Vertical is always our recommendation for maximum durability.

Regular Roof

Entry Level

Curved horizontal panels. Most economical option. Good for mild climates and basic vehicle storage where heavy precipitation isn't a concern.

Best for: Mild weather · Budget builds

Boxed-Eave

Popular

A-frame profile with horizontal panels. More residential aesthetic than vertical. Works well in moderate climates and offers better protection than regular style.

Best for: Residential look · Moderate weather

Vertical Roof

Recommended

Panels run vertically so rain and debris shed efficiently. Maximum durability and longest lifespan. The right choice for any climate.

Best for: SC climate · Heavy rain · Long-term investment

Built to Last.

South Carolina weather isn't gentle — high humidity, heavy summer rain, and the occasional named storm are realities every property owner deals with. A metal carport is one of the most cost-effective ways to protect your vehicle investment without building a full enclosed garage. Steel doesn't rot, warp, or deteriorate from moisture the way wood does, and it handles wind loads that would compromise lesser materials.

We recommend vertical roof panels for any serious application. The vertically oriented panels shed water and debris more efficiently and reduce the risk of rust buildup in panel seams. For most residential applications, a 12-gauge certified unit is the right call — it qualifies for permits if your municipality requires them and gives you the structural confidence to sleep through a storm.
